Welcome to Chislehurst Golf Club
Chislehurst Golf Club, founded in 1894, is celebrating 150 years of Imperial Chislehurst.
From 1870 to 1880 our clubhouse was home to the French Imperial family and the French court in exile.
Consistent with the design influences of the great Harry S Colt, Chislehurst Golf Club's 18 hole course is situated within 70 acres of beautiful parkland in the heart of Chislehurst in Kent. It offers a truly demanding test of accuracy rather than length, challenging golfers of all abilities while possessing a quite distinctive charm.
The jewel in Chislehurst Golf Club’s crown is its magnificent clubhouse, Camden Place. With parts of the building dating back to around 1717 it was, for a while during the 1870s, home to Napoleon III, the Empress Eugenie and their son the Prince Imperial who received regular visits from Queen Victoria.
The clubhouse has three bars to accommodate golfers and more formal occasions alike and is available for private functions including wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries and other special celebrations.
The present layout is attributed to the legendary course designer Harry S Colt, adding his signature to the design of Easton Devonshire. With an area of less than 70 acres, accuracy has always been more important than distance from the tee.
Chislehurst is a traditional members' club with excellent facilities. We currently have a limited number of vacancies for golf and social membership with favourable fees for younger players.
