Please would smokers, be they golfers or attending a function, be extra cautious when stubbing out cigarettes.

Golfers will have noticed that owing to the unusually dry weather, parts of the golf course are now extremely dry.

This means that the chance of fire is significantly increased.

In order to keep the likelihood of fire at an absolute minimum, the Club asks that smokers please be so kind as to take extra care when stubbing out cigarettes anywhere on the course or near the clubhouse.

Many thanks.
