Intro

One of the club's most significant assets is its magnificent clubhouse, Camden Place, which was built around 1717 and was, for a while during the 1870’s, the home of Napoleon III, Empress Eugenie and their son the Prince Imperial.

The clubhouse is an extremely elegant building creating a special atmosphere for golfing and social functions of which there are many throughout the year.  In addition members and their families are able to use the clubhouse facilities for special private functions such as wedding receptions.

Chislehurst Golf Club has an 18 hole course situated within 65 acres of parkland in the heart of Chislehurst - only 12 miles south east of Central London.

The course is a truly demanding test of accuracy rather than length and will challenge golfers in all handicap ranges. It possesses a charm quite distinctively it’s own.

The Clubhouse has three bars to accommodate golfers and more formal occasions alike, and is made available, by arrangement, for various 'outside' functions such as wedding receptions and other social activities.

Sunday usually sees the oak panelled dining room packed out at lunch time. By arrangement, members frequently make use of the excellent facilities for private celebrations. In the Summer a west-facing terrace is ideal for outside relaxation.

Apart from the strong Ladies' and Men's Membership, Juniors are also very welcome and indeed the members, together with our very capable professional team, encourage the Juniors through the beginner's curve and up to the more advanced states.

Our very enthusiastic Social Committee organise functions throughout the year with a variety of entertainments from Club Nights to Summer Balls.
